Go To Post We’re honestly not very particular about active ingredients in face products that are made to be immediately washed off like cleansers and scrubs for the obvious reason that they don’t stay long enough on the skin to deliver results as significant as when they’re in serums or creams. This Murad’s Vita-C Triple Exfoliating Facial, however, is meant to be left on for 10 minutes like a mask, allowing its key ingredients to work, from its gold-stabilized, highly bioavailable vitamin C for increased absorption to its triple active exfoliators.
Think of it as a microdermabrasion facial that can mimic pro results at home. It’s actually clinically proven to smooth texture just as effectively in one use.
Whereas many other scrubs or peels rely on one mode of exfoliation, this one combines all 3 with physical, chemical, and enzymatic exfoliants for an effective but gentle potency. Its chemical exfoliants are glycolic, lactic, and salicylic acids. It also has high-performing enzymes that exfoliate and help dislodge debris and dead skin cells while its micromineral exfoliants gently polish the skin for an instantly smooth surface.
It starts out as a pasty orange mousse, and transforms into a creamy white color when massaged onto the face. This color transformation also serves as a guide to evenly applying the formula. The physical exfoliants work right before rinsing, when water is mixed with the paste in circular motions on the face. Over time you’ll also notice skin brightening. We’ve been using this for two weeks now, and so far enjoying the results. Our skin has since been clear!
