A staple in our beauty kits since high school, lip balms are the gateway to skincare and self care. Only this time, we’re offered more than lip care in a tube, such as in Colourette’s Colourbalms in high-shine gloss and fun hues.

Best for: Prepping and pampering the lips, but we love how it does as well as a shiny lip topper, or worn as is, too, especially when you’re going for a minimalist girl, lip tint-only look, or a Y2K juicy gal with shiny puckers.
It also plays quite well with color makeup in that it doesn’t fade color and it doesn’t disrupt your base makeup underneath as well.
What it is and what’s in it: Colourbalm, while essentially a lip balm, comes with fresh hints of tint and is infused with hydrating vitamin E and candelilla wax as a nourishing protective barrier. First launched in 2021, the Colourbalm now comes in an easier-to-use, leak-proof tube, with a doe foot applicator, and with five new, universally flattering colors to boot: an icy pink Slushie, a desert rosy Sangria, a cocoa nude Sundaze, a warm cinnamon-y Sand, and a clear jelly Syrup.
