For all the love I...
Go To Post     For all the love I have for this brand, my adulation for it has apparently only remained on IG Stories and I’m surprised. Here’s my small Pat Mcgrath Labs collection (with a few unopened packets of minis). The superstar here is obviously this massive 18-shade must-have, the Mthrshp Mega: Celestial Divinity eyeshadow palette. If there is one thing the legendary makeup artist has perfected for her namesake brand, it is her eyeshadow line, and by perfect I mean each shade goes beyond color payoff. These eyeshadows are highly pigmented—one swipe is all you need for a super rich wash of color. They’re creamy and truly and easily blendable, won’t crease or fade, and will hold all day. This is the eye palette of our dreams. While the color selection may look intimidating especially for eyeshadow beginners, the shades here are actually more wearable and versatile than you think. The possibilities are endless! With such a perfect formulation, I think it’s a palette that can actually make application foolproof and suited for an eye shadow novice. For an 18-shade palette, its price is a lot less expensive than the usual PMGLabs selections, so it’s definitely worth it. I think now too is a great time to learn eyeshadow application, at least for those who haven’t started. It’s a lot less complicated than you think. For starters, the minis are also perfect kits for exploring this brand. Creatives and artists in her circle (and beyond) call Pat McGrath ‘Mother’ in reverence to her Queen Bee status in the beauty world, having created looks that became trends and runway beauty concepts that became iconic. A few days ago, Allure magazine unveiled her on its cover, marking another milestone in her studded career as the first makeup artist to ever be on the glossy’s cover. With such an inspiring story and the kind of transformative beauty she has glittered the industry with, I think she deserves it more than anyone. ✨
